Context

OpenKedai will be developed in the open. A hosted version, if one is offered, needs operational features that do not belong in the community project.

Decision

This repository is the public open-source project (private until the maintainers publish it). Internal working documents live in docs/internal/ until the maintainers clean them up. A hosted version, if any, is a separate private fork that adds multi-tenant management, billing and operations; the landing page lives in a separate repository.

Consequences

• Everything outside docs/internal/ is written as if already public.
• Tenant provisioning, billing and other hosted-only features are not built here.
• The code favours extension points and adapters over hard-coded single-tenant assumptions, so a fork can rebase with few conflicts.
